My name is Johanna Haerens, born in 1993 and living in Brussels (Belgium).

For me photography is a way to slow down, stand still and consciously look around. By capturing details or unusual angles, I focus on what lies beneath the surface of the everyday and express what I find difficult to put into words.

Cameras have been an important part of my life since childhood. On this website you will find my personal favourites, digital and analogue, taken throughout the years.

I am happy to serve as a photographer in projects with a deeper meaning.
